- Acceptance of TermsThese Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access and use of The Bible Code service ("Service") provided by [The Bible Code] ("we," "us," or "our"). We refer to the "User" as you, and we will also use words like "you" and "your" to refer to you.By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, then you may not access or use the Service. By using our Service, you represent and warrant that: (i) you are at least 18 years of age or an adult in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher; (ii) have not been previously suspended or terminated from our Service; (iii) agree to our Privacy Policy.
- User AccountsYou may be required to create an account to access certain features of the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your login credentials. You further agree to be responsible for all activities that occur under your account. New User Accounts are bound by these Terms based on the Last Updated date. Existing User Accounts created before the Last Updated date are bound by the previous terms before the Effective date.
- User ContentThe Service may permit you to submit, upload, or post content, including text, data, or images ("User Content"). You retain all ownership rights to your User Content. However, by submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and distribute your User Content in connection with the Service.
- Software License and RestrictionsThe Bible Code Service includes downloadable software ("Software"). We grant you a license to use the Software, not the Software itself. This license grants you certain rights and imposes limitations on your use of the Software.If you exceed the maximum allowable devices for the license you purchased, you will need to purchase additional licenses.You may not: (i) Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to discover the source code of the Software; (ii) Sell, lease, sublicense, distribute, or otherwise transfer the Software or your license to use it. The license is specific to you and cannot be shared with others; (iii) Create derivative works based on the Software. This includes modifying the Software or creating new software based on it; (iv) Remove or alter any copyright notices or other proprietary markings on the Software. These markings identify ownership and must not be tampered with.
- BillingYou must provide complete and accurate billing information for the purchase of anything through our Service. Should automatic billing fail, you may request an invoice to be provided to you through our support channels. Requests for refunds will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and granted, in full or partial, at our sole discretion.We use Stripe, a Third Party Service, for billing.
- Third Party ServicesThe Bible Code Service may integrate with or link to third-party websites, software, or services ("Third-Party Services"). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or security of any Third-Party Services. You should carefully review the terms of service and privacy policies of any Third-Party Services you access.We do not control and are not liable for the practices of any Third-Party Services. Your use of Third-Party Services is at your own risk.
- Intellectual PropertyThe Service and all content included on the Service, such as text, graphics, logos, images, and software, are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You agree not to use any protected content without our express written permission.
- DisclaimerThe Service is provided "as is" and without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim all warranties, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
- Limitation of LiabilityTo the extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in any way connected with the use of the Service.
- TerminationWe may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.
- Changes to TermsWe may revise these Terms at any time by posting the revised Terms on the Service. You are expected to check this page periodically so you are aware of any changes, as they are binding on you. By continuing to use the Service after we post revised Terms, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
